We at pamsmith.com want our Living Well Family to have access to 24 hours
of support from other members. It is important to us that you will be encouraged,
share your experiences, learn from Pam and each other, and be motivated to
grow in your new lifestyle habits. We ask, therefore, that you agree and
follow the Standards and Rules we have established for conduct when you post
to the Smart Weigh Community.
1. ONLY REGISTERED MEMBERS CAN PARTICIPATE
Each participant must register in our registration area with a real name
and valid e-mail address. Failure to register or registration with false
information including misrepresentation of age, gender or e-mail address
will be grounds for blocking and removal. We ask that participants be 13
years of age or older.
2. BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL
Please be kind to others even when expressing different opinions. It is a
given that we will not agree on all topics, but we can choose to disagree
in a respectful manner. Please think before you post, and then you will not
experience difficulties. Do not attack, insult, or harass. We are all learning
together, so always try to support one another. Any posts that violate this
standard will be removed.
3. KEEP IT CLEAN
There is no place in our community for language that is explicit, vulgar,
or obscene. Any posts that contain such content will be removed.
4. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE COMMUNITY AS AN AREA FOR DEBATES
This community is designed to support one another, learn and share each other's
victories and challenges. Pam will add input and clarification to help you
learn and grow.
5. REMEMBER THAT POSTS ARE NOT ENDORSED BY PAMSMITH.COM
Pamsmith.com does not necessarily support or endorse comments that are posted
in our community by others. Any advice or opinions posted are the views of
those who post the statements, and does not necessarily represent the views
of Pam Smith or pamsmith.com. We reserve the right to remove posts that are
contrary or antagonistic to Pam Smith's Smart Weigh Lifestyle Program.
6. COMMERCIAL ITEM POSTINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED
Refrain from posting commercial messages, solicitations, or references to
websites including URL's, outside of pamsmith.com. Any posts that contain
promotional messages will be removed. It is also understood that contacting,
or asking for, other participant's name, address or e-mail for promotion
or solicitation will be considered spam and will be grounds for immediate
removal from the community.
7. IF IT IS COPYRIGHTED AND IT IS NOT YOURS, PLEASE DON'T POST IT
Any posts that are copyrighted or owned by someone other than you should
not be posted in the community without the permission of the owner. If this
happens, the individual who posts the information will be held responsible.
Pamsmith.com will not be held responsible in any way for member posts that
violate copyright or other proprietary laws. Please do not post articles,
press releases, internet myths or information that is controversial or of
a sensational nature.
8. YOU AGREE TO ALLOW PAMSMITH.COM TO REPRODUCE YOUR POST
There are times when pamsmith.com may choose to use your posts for promotional
purposes. When doing this, pamsmith.com will never publish your profile
information, member name or e-mail address. We promise to be sensitive in
choosing posts to republish.
9. IF YOU SEE A VIOLATION
If you happen to see anything that violates the above listed standards and
rules, please send an e-mail to
forum@pamsmith.com.
In summary, pamsmith.com reserves the right to remove any post that does
not relate to the topics discussed on the board. Additionally, pamsmith.com
reserves the right to delete any messages that are thought to be harmful
to any of the other members. If there are violations to the above standards
and rules, pamsmith.com reserves the right to revoke the membership privileges
of the person in violation.
